Everyone Wants Your Money!...Merry Advent!

One In Six Americans Are Online SellersMore than one in six Americans who go online have sold something, or tried to, most of them using Internet classified and auction sites, a new poll said Monday. The Pew Internet & American Life Project's phone survey found that 17 percent of Internet-using adults have sold goods or services online, with about 2 percent selling something on any given day.--InformationWeek

And by the way... Kenric wins a free mole day! Speaking of money how did shopping go on Black Friday? It's funny how the day where we are thankful for the things we have is followed by a day where people forget their gratitude and struggle through crowded shopping malls to fulfill their stupidest wants. Somehow I guess the so called "Holiday Season" started then. Sorry but I celebrate CHRISTmas. Well I find that it offends me to take out the name of God from everything. So how come people don't go to extreme extents to make sure me and many other Americans are not offended? Have you noticed that Christmas seems to start at the beginning of Advent and end on Christmas? Christmas lasts for twelve days starting on Christmas Day. Maybe if people tried to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas their would be a lot less stress. I've heard so many times that the true meaning of Christmas is all about giving. Christmas is the season of giving. Yes giving is very good, but it's not called 'givingmas' it's Christmas. Why do we give? God GAVE us his son so we give to one another! Christmas is about God. Not the dancing tigger, not tickle me Elmo, not Santa Claus, not the new Xbox 360, not video games, not shopping, not winter, not only giving, not only family. GOD is the reason for the season!!!!! No more of this holiday tree stuff. It's a Christmas tree!!!!!!! We don't worship santa claus, we worship God. Now that's it's advent we have to prepare for the second coming of the Lord. Prepare your soul. Advent is a lot like lent. Try to pray more during advent try to be nicer to people, try not to get so frustrated with your professors, read the Bible, pray the rosary, go to weekday masses. Prepare yourself during advent and keep watch!

This kind of has nothing to do with anything, but why can't school have a Catholic theology class as an elective during high school? No student would have to take it so no one could complain that they are being force to follow a certain religion. Someone might say that well they would have to have classes for all denominations and religions in order to be fair, but quite a few schools have students who speak different languages like Spanish, Arab, and others and schools aren't required to teach Spanish in order to be fair. It makes perfect sense, but I guess people don't think logically like me and Tom.

Check out the new post on infoark

infoark.blogspot.com it's very urgent and i'm sure you've all probably felt the same way at one pont. i'm horrible when it come's to getting people to the Ark if you haven't noticed. Pray for the Ark. People make fun of the ark everytime nearly it's brought up. Many people have laughed about the roof blowing off the building. You what i find amazing is the same kids that never seem to listen to their parents on anything seem to listen to their parents views on the Ark. The biggest issue is all the money the whole ark costs and its a dumb idea and its not cool. I could punch them in the face but i wont. I have 2 people that have a very good chance of coming down to the ark. (at least much better of a chance than most other people in my class) Joel should we bring our guitars down to the Ark?

this is a really cool place. Who's all been here before. I think that just looks cool. I heard this bridge is higher above the water than the Mackinaw Bridge is. I'm not sure if that's true, but i it's funny how there's this huge bridge that crosses a tiny stream. It looks cooler when you actually go there.

Lieutenant Pohl

It all makes sense now! The computer in the basement to take over the world! He loves to blow things up! Especially gasoline! Remember when he told us about that. With the whole shooting a gallon jug of gasoline or something like that and watching it explode and other stuff like that. He doesn't like cats! He has really short hair like a military person

He likes to make jokes! Jokes=fun, Fun=life, life=risk, risk=the world conquest game! It's so obvious.

There's only one last question remaining. We know he's a military leader that wants to take over the world, but.....

For whom is he fighting for?

.............................................

(if you're crazy or fluffity puffity as some like to say, I used trebuchet font for this. It seemed like it fit the topic.....o yeah 13 days)

Cats!

Though not as cool as dogs, cats are still cats. Cats can be cool but only when the attack things. Like mice, birds or other critters. Dogs are so much better in every other way. The best kind of dog is a beagle. Smaller dogs are nicer than old fat lazy fat dogs. Cats always seem to be so arrogant and try to avoid people and scratch them. Animals that hunt are the best. Probably because they act like real animals. Did you know that llamas are cool too! You know what I've always wondered? Probably not. Well I guess you'll never know until I tell you. So I'll tell you. If they made a movie about a dog show would it be rated PG-13 because frequent use of the B!^(!! word? Well, I'd like to close with a few things about cats:
-Ancient Egyptians used to shave their eyebrows in morning when the family cat died.
-Cats are the only domestic animal not mentioned in the Bible.
-Blue-eyed white cats are often deaf.
- Cat bites are more likely to become infected than dog bites - but human bites are the most dangerous of all, because people have more bacteria in their mouths.
[Kind of reminds me of a story about a man biting a dog]
- Some notable people who disliked cats: Napoleon Bonaparte, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Hitler. [Craig J. Pohl]
[Why is it that military leaders and Craig Pohl hate cats ? Is Craig a military leader?]
- It has been scientifically proven that stroking a cat can lower one's blood pressure.
- Six-toed kittens are so common in Boston and surrounding areas of Massachusetts that experts consider it an established mutation

Italian Mother Next for Beatification: November 6

Friday, November 04, 2005 12:00:00 AM GMT

Cardinal José Saraiva Martins, who presided at the beatification of eight Spanish martyrs in St. Peter's Basilica on October 29, will be the principal celebrant once again at a November 6 ceremony in Vicenza, Italy, when Eurosia Fabris is beatified.

Eurosia Fabris was born in Vincenza, in northern Italy, in 1866, into a poor family. After only two years of education she joined her mother in working as a seamstress. At the age of 15 she began caring for two girls in the neighborhood whose mother had died, and a few years later she married and adopted the children. She and her husband subsequently had 9 children of their own, including 3 who were to become priests.

"Mamma Rosa," as she was known, was known for her sacrifice and devotion to her family, and her courage in the face of a disease that caused her husband's death in 1930. After her own death in 1932, Pope Pius XII said that she was "an example for today's families."

On November 13, Cardinal Saraiva Martins will preside once again at beatifications in the Vatican basilica, for Charles de Foucauld, Maria Pia Mastena, and Maria Crocifissa Curcio.

The new norms for the celebration of beatifications stipulate that the prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints will ordinarily preside. Pope Benedict XVI has indicated that he will only preside at canonizations.
