It's About Time

I guess me and many others haven't posted for a very very very long time. I wonder why? maybe it's because so many people have been busy or something or else they (or should i say we) haven't felt the urge to blog. I guess out of nowhere, has anyone ever read the book called Tacky the Penguin. It's basically about a penguin who's kind of strange and he has other friends. They kind of are children's books that my 2nd grade teacher used to read to us. Tacky made up a song that went something like this (i'm quite so sure about the beginning):

Yup, I wonder (that's the part of the begining i'm not sure about)
How many toes does a fish have? How many wings on a cow?
Yup, I wonder.
Yup, I wonder.

Speaking of Penguins has anybody seen that movie March of the Penguins? I'm sort of confused on what it's about. From the previews it looks like someone found some penguins and filmed them, then called it a movie. Speaking of penguins, who likes hockey?

Speaking of speaking, some people from around here are on their way to Frankfurt. If my calculations are correct they will arive at approx. 11:47 p.m. eastern time. They better be sleep or they will have serious jet lag. God Bless!

  • I think that was the best post you have had, Adam.

I think my class had to put on a play about Tacky the Penguin.

I have seen some clips of the movie, don't really care though.

Yeah, there is hockey now. But I still don't like it.

Jet lag is bad, yup, learned about it in Anatomy. Your "biological clock" will get messed up, Ben, Marnee, Kyle and whoever else I don't know who is going on it.

  • um hockey is like the best sport ever
never heard of tacky the penguin.
i am not watching that march of the penguins movie, what if they have a whole series planned: walk of the penguins, waddle of the penguins, run of the penguins. or how about, march of the deer, march of the fleas, and march of the platapus, worse yet march of the people.

  • Watching hockey is so boring, that is probably why I don't like it. It would be more fun to play it. I can withstand watching golf more than hockey.

By Blogger Sarah, at Sun Aug 14, 11:49:00 AM 2005

  • not on a blog, or on the internet, but on rollerblades and with hockey sticks

  • Hey, what is wrong with virtual hockey?

By Blogger Tom, at Mon Aug 15, 08:03:00 PM 2005

  • it's not as fun as physical hockey

By Blogger Adam, at Wed Aug 17, 12:20:00 PM 2005

  • yeah real hokey is way better, however it is the best when played as God intended it to be played...on the ice.
rollerblades just don't do it justice.

  • well it's kind of hard to find ice during the summer. I have never played hockey with ice skates or even used ice skates before. If you could arrange it so that we all might play hockey on ice then i'd be delighted to do so.

By Blogger Adam, at Wed Aug 17, 03:42:00 PM 2005

  • well there are these things call "ice rinks"
( pronounced "eye-s riks") that have ice in them, winter, spring, summer and fall. there is one in washington park, although i don't know if they let you play hockey during open skate. They are however one of many ice rinks in lansing.
ice skates are more mobile than roller blades and more fun. in fact you can, if you are good at it, use the skate to spray ice in to a persons face, granted after doing so you better hope they are worse at skating than you are.

  • I take it you have done this Sarah?

By Blogger Tom, at Thu Aug 18, 06:58:00 PM 2005

  • Was the person you did this to a better ice skater than you are? Did s/he chase you down and force you to the ground by checking you? Did s/he spray ice in your face while you were on the ground? Was it cold?

By Blogger Adam, at Fri Aug 19, 06:39:00 PM 2005

  • yes, no and no and no. and yes ice is cold
i have done this to people before but they were unable get revenge. actually it happens quite often when i go skating with people

  • oh and is this post invisible?

By Blogger Sarah, at Thu Sep 01, 06:58:00 PM 2005

  • Sarah

Adam meant "he typed 'new post' before [he] even read [my] comment."

In other words, he commented on my blog before I said for people to tell me to make a new post.

And I hope you weren't joking, because I would seem dumb then because I took your possible sarcasm for what it wasn't.

By Blogger Tom, at Thu Sep 01, 07:56:00 PM 2005

  • no i wasn't i thought adam meant that he had made a new post for his blog...

By Blogger Sarah, at Fri Sep 02, 09:10:00 PM 2005

  • Don't worry, I thought the same thing for like one second.
